How It Works
Fluid or gas passes outside-in through a microporous PTFE matrix that removes contaminants by precise size exclusion while allowing clean effluent to exit the core at stable differential pressure
Applications
- •Final filtration of high-purity water and electronics DI/UPW (0.05–1.0 µm)
- •Aggressive chemical and solvent polishing (PTFE media; verify compatibility)
- •Pharma/biotech buffers and air/gas vent/bubble-point tested applications (steamable/autoclavable)
- •Point-of-use sterile barrier candidates at 0.2 µm with integrity testing (process-dependent)
