Advanced Carbon Technology (ACT)
Key Features
- Stainless Construction Available for Autoclave and Steam Sterilization
- Easy change-out within minutes
- Excellent adsorption capacity
Overview
Compact carbon block cartridge delivering superior adsorption, offered in stainless steel construction for hygienic, high-temperature, and aggressive services
How It Works
Liquid passes through a high-surface-area carbon block that adsorbs organic and chemical contaminants. The rigid stainless steel design accommodate repeated thermal sanitization cycles and aggressive process conditions while maintaining consistent adsorption and service life.
Applications
- •Chlorine/chloramine reduction for steam-sanitized RO and taste/odor
- •PFAS polishing for remediation/industrial reuse
- •VOC and color removal in process water
- •Tank vent and process exhaust VOC adsorption
- •Odor control for wastewater/chemical storage
- •Produced-water organics polishing
- •Slop-water VOC/BTEX reduction
- •Process water dechlorination
- •Decolorization/organics removal in chemicals/coatings
- •Plating bath organics control (017 formulation)
Special Option – ACT Stainless Steel Construction
Designed for applications requiring steam or autoclave sterilization.
Autoclave & Steam Sterilization Capability: Plastic cages can deform under repeated steam; stainless handles autoclave, SIP, and hot water sanitization for hygienic and high-purity systems.
Hygienic Process Compatibility: Ideal for high-purity systems where thermal sanitization is standard practice.
Durable Under Thermal Cycling: Provides long service life in elevated-temperature, sterilized operation.
- •Steam-sterilized RO pretreatment
- •High-purity process water loops
- •Chemical and plating bath polishing
- •Produced-water or VOC-heavy industrial streams
- •Applications where plastic cage is not suitable
