Overview

Mono/multifilament mesh bags for industrial liquids in standard housings provide high-flow, low-dP surface filtration; sewn construction with molded collars or rings, silicone-free, with nylon/polyester options suitable for food contact

How It Works

Surface filtration through woven mesh: particles larger than the mesh openings are retained on the surface during inside-to-outside flow in a sealed housing. Monofilament provides precise, uniform openings with low fiber migration; multifilament offers economical screening.

Applications

  • Water and wastewater prefilters; intake/pump protection; membrane pretreatment
  • Chemical batch screening of hard particles; raw material cleanup
  • Paints, inks, coatings where silicone‑free materials are required
  • Oils, fuels, produced water; coolants and metalworking fluids
  • Pulp and paper, power, and general process liquids; marine/desal pre‑RO

FAQs

  • What is the difference between monofilament and multifilament mesh bags?

Monofilament mesh provides precise, uniform openings with low fiber migration ideal for critical applications. Multifilament offers economical screening with higher dirt capacity for general purpose straining.

  • What micron ratings are available for mesh bags?

    Mesh bags are available from 1 to 1500 micron, with common sizes including 5, 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 300, 400, 600, 800, and 1000 micron.

  • Are mesh bags suitable for paint and coating applications?

Yes, our mesh bags use silicone-free materials that won't cause fish-eye defects or other coating problems. Nylon and polyester options are FDA listed for food contact.
