Overview

Multi-port valve that directs fluid flow between multiple pipes using a single actuated device. Consolidates multiple valves into one unit, reducing connections, saving space, and ensuring only one flow path is active at a time to eliminate the risk of cross-flow.

How It Works

Transfer valve how it works diagram

Transfer valves manage uninterrupted fluid flow across duplex filtration and process systems. Using dual sealing pads, the valve shifts system flow from one active vessel to an alternate standby vessel without stopping the line.

Unseat: Turn the T-Handle CCW to unlock the valve, then push the Operating Handle downward to retract the Sealing Pads.

Transfer: Rotate the Operating Handle 180 degrees (A -> B or B -> A).

Reseat: Release the Operating Handle, turn the T-Handle CW until the Sealing Pads are firmly seated and the valve is locked in position.

3-Way: The valve provides a single flow path from Inlet Port to either Inlet A or Inlet B. Similar to a 3-Way L-Port ball valve.

6-Way: Combines the functionality of two 3-Way valves working in unison into one compact package. The internal Separator Plate divides the valves into separate upper and lower flow paths. Both paths shift simultaneously between the two port pairs.

Applications

Features

  • •Positive Mechanical Lockdown: Holds sealing pads securely without springs for reliable, leak-free shut-off.
  • •Pressure-Assisted Sealing: Increasing line pressure increases the sealing force, helping maintain reliable sealing performance.
  • •Low-torque Design: Retracting pads eliminate seal drag and wear, delivering smooth, low torque operation that reduces operator effort.
  • •Compact Package: Space-saving design minimizes the installation footprint and provides improved operator access in space-constrained areas.
  • •Fabricated Steel Construction: Durable, pressure-resistant construction allows flexibility in sizes, port layouts, materials, and custom configurations.
  • •ASME Code-Compliant: Built to applicable ASME requirements for pressure-containing industrial service.
  • •Fully Serviceable: Internal sealing and operating components can be inspected and replaced without replacing the complete valve assembly.
  • •Drop-In Replacement: Designed to fit existing transfer valve installations, minimizing piping modifications and system downtime.
  • •Stainless Steel Internals: Enhanced resistance to corrosion and wear for reliable long-term service.
