TG (TG)
Key Features
- Higher dirt-holding capacity for longer run times
- Lowest cost of ownership in the industry
- Engineered fit
Overview
TG elements are pleated-media cartridges for particulate removal in gas streams. Large surface area pleats deliver low initial dP and long life while protecting downstream equipment.
How It Works
Gas flows outside-to-inside across tightly spaced pleats. The pleated surface area holds a growing particulate cake on the upstream side; as the cake forms it contributes to fine capture and stabilizes efficiency.
Applications
- •Dry gas transmission, processing and storage
- •Compressor Suction/Discharge, Gas Gathering, Metering / Custody
- •Transfer, Glycol and Amine Contactor protection
- •Fuel Gas
- •Utility & Instrument Air
- •Dry gas streams containing trace methylene chloride (dichloromethane) vapor
- •Removal of fine, rigid solids such as dust, rust, scale, sand, salts, coal fines and other particulates
FAQs
- •
What contaminants does the TG Series remove from gas streams?
The TG Series removes dust, rust, scale, sand, salts, coal fines, and other rigid particulates from dry gas streams with 99.98% efficiency at the rated micron.
- •
What is the difference between TG particulate filters and CF coalescers?
TG filters are designed for dry particulate removal, while CF coalescers are dual-layer elements designed to remove liquid aerosols (oil, water, condensates) from gas streams.
- •
What gas filter housings are compatible with TG elements?
TG elements fit Fil-Trek 70V/70H Series housings and Parker Peco Series 70 housings in multiple OD sizes (4.5", 5.5", 6.0") and lengths (18" to 72").
