Overview

Dual-layer gas coalescers: microglass captures submicron aerosols, polyester drainage coalesces and sheds liquid—cutting carryover, slowing dP rise, and extending service life to protect compressors and instrumentation

How It Works

Microdroplets wet the media and merge into larger drops that drain by gravity. Inside-to-outside flow retains liquid on the outer surface for clean removal and stable performance.

Applications

  • Removal of compressor lubrication oils, water, hydrocarbon condensates, amines, glycols, solvents, completion fluids, brine, and other liquid phase contaminates.
  • Amine plant feed gas and treated gas
  • Suction and discharge of compressors
  • Fuel gas purification
  • Protection of molecular sieve beds, alumina beds, activated carbon beds
  • Protection of flare systems, glycol units and metering systems
  • Turbine feed gas

FAQs

  • What contaminants does the CF Series coalescer remove?

The CF Series removes compressor oils, water, hydrocarbon condensates, amines, glycols, solvents, completion fluids, and brine from natural gas and process gas streams with 99.98% efficiency.

  • What size housings are compatible with CF elements?

CF elements are available in multiple sizes (3", 5.5", 6" OD) and lengths (12" to 72") to fit Fil-Trek 77V Series, Parker Peco Spartan Purasep, King Tool, Peerless, and JCI gas separator housings.

  • How does the dual-layer design extend service life?

The inner microglass layer captures submicron aerosols while the outer polyester drainage layer coalesces and sheds liquid, preventing re-entrainment and reducing pressure drop buildup.
