TW Series Bags (TW)
Key Features
- Design for TW Series
- Nominal-rated prefilter for solids and gels
- Food and beverage compatible materials
Overview
Extended-length felt bags for Fil‑Trek TW vessels feature glazed/singed finishes for low fiber migration and a welded Plastic Sure Seal flange for a positive fit in TW baskets, delivering stable depth filtration with low bypass, low dP, and fewer changeouts
How It Works
Fluid flows inside-to-outside through a basket-supported bag. Multi-layer depth media provides graded capture and aids trace-oil reduction.
Applications
- •Prefiltration/guard filtration: RO/UF pretreatment, general process water, wastewater polishing
- •Chemicals, resins, adhesives; coatings, paints, inks
- •Coolants, parts-wash fluids, light oils and utility liquids across industrial sectors
- •Data centers: FWS cooling tower, chilled water filtration
FAQs
- •
What housings are TW bags designed for?
TW bags are specifically designed for Fil-Trek TW Series vessels with extended-length baskets, providing higher flow rates and dirt-holding capacity than standard P1/P2 bags.
- •
What is the benefit of glazed/singed finish?
Glazed and singed finishes seal fiber ends to prevent fiber shedding and migration, making TW bags suitable for applications where clean effluent is critical.
- •
What media options are available?
TW bags are available in polypropylene and polyester felt in ratings from 0.5 to 200 micron, with FDA listed materials for food-contact applications.
